Successful TNQAB Samoa work attachment

On Thurs 8th and Fri 9th June 2023, the National Qualifications Unit of TNQAB facilitated the validation of the “National Certificate in Sustainable Energy (Solar PV) Level 3”. This was jointly hosted by TNQAB and the qualification developers, Tonga Department of Energy and the Pacific Community’s Pacific Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (PCREEE).
The NCSEL3 (Solar PV) is the first national qualification in Tonga that specially targets competencies in the use of Solar Photovoltaic for electricity generation. This qualification is expected to be available for delivery from July of this year onward.
The validators consisted of representatives from the Quality Assurance division of TNQAB, Tonga Electricity Commission, Tonga Department of Energy, and private Training providers.
