Empowering Quality Education: TNQAB Stakeholders Workshop

On the 16th June 2026, the TNQAB hosted our third Stakeholders Workshop for the first half of 2026. We were pleased to welcome key representatives from universities, higher education institutions, government departments, and the private sector for a day of productive collaboration

The workshop focused on enhancing our Stakeholder’s understanding of TNQAB’s Quality Assurance services:

1. Annual monitoring of training providers

2. Mid-term programme review

3. Micro-credentials accreditation

We extend our sincere thanks to our expert facilitators: Miss Siniva Samani (Team Leader, Monitoring and Review Division) for leading sessions 1 and 2, and Mr. Vili Maka Foliaki (CEO, TNQAB) for his insights on accreditation of Micro-credentials. A special mention to Mrs. Tupou Fiu (Senior Qualifications Analyst – Accreditation) for keeping our participants informed and engaged throughout the day.

The event featured in-depth discussions on critical issues facing the Tonga education sector, workforce empowerment, and our collective path toward national development.
