National Certificate in Vocational Training and Assessment Level 4

We are proud to share that the TNQAB secretariat is currently facilitating the validation of the National Certificate in Training and Assessment (TVET) Level 4. This is a historic achievement, as it is the first qualification of its type to be quality-assured for registration on the Tonga Qualifications Framework (TQF). This validation has been going on for a few days, and today is the final day.

It was an honour to have our team working alongside the members of the Industry Technical Advisory Committee (ITAC) for Teaching and Assessment in TVET and Higher Education, to further critique and refine this vital qualification.

A special word of appreciation goes to the president and members of the Tonga Association for Technical and Higher Education (TATHE) for stepping up to the challenge of providing the relevant technical oversight to this initiative. Also, special mention to the secretariat staff, Mrs. Mele Taufa, Team Leader for the National Qualifications Unit, and Mrs. Ana Niu, Qualifications Analyst, for their exceptional dedication and the fine work accomplished on this project so far.
